Your Destin Family Photographer

A: I've been a photographer for over seven years, and specializing in maternity and newborns early on. I received photography training by the very best in the photography industry, and I can show for certification in newborn safety.

A: I photograph family  and maternity sessions at Henderson Beach in Destin & 30A beaches (a $50 travel fee applies for all 30A beaches). A studio option is also available for maternity, newborn and baby milestone sessions.

A: Beach sessions are scheduled for the time of day when the light is most flattering and you are most likely to have the stunning painterly skies the area is known for.  You may choose a sunrise or sunset session. For sunrise sessions we meet 15 minutes before sunrise. For sunset sessions, we meet 1 hour before sunset. We adjust the meeting time if the weather is cloudy and reschedule if it is raining.

A: Newborn and maternity clients usually schedule with me during their second trimester for their maternity session to be taken around 28 - 32 weeks of pregnancy. Newborns are best photographed around 10 -21 days after birth. I recommend scheduling your beach session during the first few days of your vacation. This way we avoid sunburns in your portraits and this also allows us to reschedule your session in case of inclement weather.

A: I highly recommend using my special spot if you want clean, classic fine art photos. Other areas of the beach are often crowded with unwanted distractions in your photos.  There is an additional charge of  $100 if you book me at your desired location.

A: The great news is that I am here to help you with family outfits! Clothing can make one of the biggest differences in your session outcome. Chances are, if you like my photos it's because you are drawn to light. So simply put, I ask for my clients to wear pastels, neutrals, and lighter tones. I have a session guide that I send upon booking that goes over options, and also an interactive style guide and outfit coordination for easy wardrobe shopping. I'm also just a call or text away when you are choosing your clothing and am happy to help! P.S. I have a client closet that you are welcome to choose from for pregnant moms and children up to four years!

A: Yes, absolutely! You have personal printing rights for the photos you purchase and can print those files to your heart's desire. That being said, I would urge you to consider purchasing through me if you want the best product quality, and long term value. I use the best photo labs in the industry, and if you were to see the difference between the prints and products, it would be night and day. In fact, I'd be happy to show you! While it is completely optional, I would say if you've taken the time and care to book me (my clients care about their photos), you will be so satisfied with "bringing it all home" and seeing your custom art in high-quality albums and prints.

A: Yes, I sort of do! A non-refundable retainer ($375 for single sessions and $795 for the membership) secures your session time/s and is due at booking. Additionally all digital files and products are purchased after your session. PayPal Credit is an option for a payment plan: When applying for PayPal Credit all digitals and products are sent over and ordered as soon as the payment is received. So pretty much immediately once you're approved.
