I'm here to make this easy for you. Below are the questions I hear most often.

I'll guide you every step of the way, and that's part of the experience. Every session includes access to my scheduler to book a complimentary planning video call, a mini coaching session where we'll talk through wardrobe, color choices, and everything else to make sure your family looks and feels their best. Light, neutral tones tend to feel the most timeless, but by the time we're done you'll feel completely confident and ready for your session.

I mainly photograph at Henderson Beach State Park, Grayton Beach State Park, and Beasley Park in Fort Walton Beach — all beautifully maintained and less crowded than public beaches. If you have access to a private beach in Okaloosa County, I'd love to photograph you there too. I'll recommend the perfect spot based on the time of year and the look you're going for.

Yes! I photograph newborns and maternity sessions in my private in-home studio in Niceville, Florida. It's a calm, cozy space created specifically with new families in mind, warm, unhurried, and ready for you.

During the busy summer months, I recommend reaching out three to four months in advance. That said, always reach out even if your timing feels last-minute. Sessions sometimes get rescheduled, and I occasionally have availability on short notice.

No need to worry. For my Signature sessions I reserve the entire day for your family, so if the weather isn't cooperating we can shift to an earlier time or reschedule to the following day for heavier rain. And honestly? Some of my most painterly, magical photographs have come from sessions we pushed through with soft overcast skies. The light can be absolutely stunning.

Within two to three weeks of your session I'll send you a link to schedule your ordering appointment, where we'll view your fully edited portraits together. This is also where you'll choose your digital files and any artwork or products for your home. It's a relaxed, guided experience with no pressure.

Yes, and I'd love for you to consider my Collective Membership, which documents your baby's entire first year across three milestone sessions: maternity, newborn, and your choice of six months or one year. Everything is planned, styled, and guided from start to finish. Learn more about the Collective Membership here.

Heirloom portraits are classic, elegant studio portraits that focus entirely on your child's face and personality — carefully composed with clean, neutral backgrounds, just like the timeless portraits your grandparents treasured. These aren't candid lifestyle photos or beach sessions. They're fine art images designed to grace your walls for generations and be passed down like your grandmother's china or your mother's jewelry. Sessions are held in my Niceville studio and are designed for independent sitters ages six months to ten years. You'll leave with tangible, framed artwork that tells the story of who your child was at this exact, fleeting moment.
