Start to Finish.
Your experience begins long before we ever meet. The Creative Fee reserves your date on my calendar and starts our full planning process together — from wardrobe styling to the session itself. Digital files and artwork are a separate investment, so you have the flexibility to choose what feels right for your family after you've seen your finished images.
When you reserve your session with a creative fee, your date is locked in and our planning starts. We'll coordinate wardrobe styling, select your location, and thoughtfully design how your images will live in your home. About two weeks after your session, you'll join me for a video call to view your custom slideshow and select what matters most to you: digital files, prints, albums, or heirloom artwork. Everything is customizable based on what feels right for your family.
Your session date is officially reserved with a completed invoice and signed photography agreement. Then we'll schedule your planning session. If you're local, we'll meet at my studio to go over details, and you can try styles from my client closet. If you're visiting, we'll connect via video call. Either way, you'll receive my curated wardrobe guides, and I'll get to know your family so your session feels natural and personal. Vacationers can also visit the closet on session day if you'd like to browse options before we begin.
On the morning of your session, my hair and makeup artist arrives at your home/ vacation rental. She'll take care of you in the comfort of your space, so you feel confident and beautiful before we begin photographing.
This is your moment to be taken care of. You deserve to feel like yourself, just elevated.
Simply arrive and exhale. I will take care of everything. I reserve your entire day, which means we have the flexibility to adapt if weather shifts or if your little one needs extra time to settle. There's no rush, no pressure. I'll guide you through the best light and most flattering settings, providing gentle direction and feedback throughout our time together.
My goal is to create a relaxed environment where your only job is to enjoy your children while I capture the magic.
About two weeks after your session, you'll join me for a video call to view your custom slideshow and discuss what matters most to your family.
You'll choose your own investment path. Select a print including digital files, or invest in à la carte products. The more you invest in prints, albums, and artwork, the more you earn your digital files at a lower investment. I'm here to guide you and help you create something that lives in your home and in your heart. Your finished products are ready for pickup within six to eight weeks, or I can ship them to you.
frequently asked questions
WHAT IF MY BABY CRIES DURING THE SESSION?
That's completely normal and expected, especially for newborn sessions. I'm trained to soothe and settle, and some of the sweetest photographs happen in moments of real emotion. For newborn sessions, we take breaks as needed. For maternity, family, and one-year sessions, I reserve your full day so there's no pressure if your little one needs time to adjust.
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
We'll discuss this during your planning session. I'll send you curated style guides for your specific session type. If you're local, you can visit my studio closet to try on options and coordinate your family's look. If you're visiting, we can use the closet on session day. The goal is for your family to feel like yourselves, just elevated.
HOW LONG DOES A SESSION ACTUALLY TAKE?
Maternity, family, and one-year sessions typically run 45 to 60 minutes. Newborn sessions run 2 to 3 hours since we take time to pose safely and capture those precious details. You'll know exactly what to expect during your planning session.
WHAT IF THE WEATHER DOESN'T COOPERATE?
For outdoor beach sessions, I reserve your full day so we have flexibility to shift timing, move to a sheltered spot, or reschedule if needed. I'll work with you to create the best outcome for your family.
