When my second child was born, I realized I barely had good photos of my first. That's when I fell in love with photography. But the real shift came when I printed my first professional image—and then lost a hard drive full of irreplaceable family photos. (I recovered them, thankfully.) That's when I understood: digital files aren't legacy. Prints are.
