As your Niceville maternity photographer, I’ve had the privilege of watching mamas walk through my studio doors feeling nervous — and walk out absolutely glowing. That transformation never gets old for me. Pregnancy is one of the most fleeting, tender seasons of your life. I want to make sure you have something beautiful to show for it.
My studio is right here in Niceville, just minutes from Destin, Eglin AFB, Hurlburt Field, and Duke Field. It’s a calm, private, light-filled space designed with expecting mamas in mind. No crowds. No weather to worry about. Just you, your bump, and a completely guided experience from start to finish.
Some sessions stay with you. This one does.
She came in alone — her husband was deployed at the time — and she wanted to do something beautiful for herself during this season. Something just for her. We started with one gown, then another, and then another. We could have honestly kept going all afternoon. By the end, we had photographed four stunning looks, each one different in mood and feeling, and every single frame was something special.
She was radiant. The kind of mama who makes the camera work effortlessly. But more than that, she was present. She let herself enjoy it. And what came out of that session became one of my favorite studio albums I’ve ever designed.
I share this because I want you to know what’s possible when you give yourself permission to be celebrated. That’s what a studio maternity session is really about.

Living near a military installation means a lot of things — including navigating pregnancy, birth, and early motherhood while your partner is away. I photograph many mamas from the Eglin, Hurlburt, and Duke Field communities who are doing exactly that. A studio session becomes something deeply personal in those moments. It’s a way of saying: this season matters, and I’m going to honor it.
Furthermore, the studio removes every logistical stressor. You’re not coordinating outfits for a beach location or hoping the weather cooperates. You arrive, I take care of everything, and you simply enjoy the experience.
In contrast to a beach session, the studio gives us complete creative control. The light is consistent and soft. We can shift the mood from airy and romantic to intimate and warm — sometimes within the same session.

With nearly a decade of portrait experience, I understand exactly what makes a mama feel confident and at ease — and since making the Emerald Coast home in 2021, I’ve brought that same care to every session right here in Niceville.
Here’s what you can expect when you book with me:
Toward the end of some sessions, we also move into something a little more intimate — a softer, more boudoir-inspired setup that celebrates your changing body in a private, artistic way. It’s always optional, always tasteful, and always completely guided. Many mamas tell me these end up being their most treasured images. If this feels like something you’d love, we can absolutely plan for it.
I’m also a mom. So I genuinely understand what this season means. These portraits are for you — but they’re also for your child someday.

I hear from so many mamas in Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Navarre, Crestview, and beyond who simply didn’t realize how close my studio is. Niceville sits right in the heart of the Emerald Coast. During your third trimester, the last thing you need is a long drive.
In fact, many of my clients are surprised to find a full-service portrait studio right in their own community. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, reducing stress and staying comfortable during late pregnancy genuinely supports maternal wellbeing. A nearby studio where everything is handled for you checks both of those boxes beautifully.

I recommend booking between 28 and 32 weeks. Your bump is beautifully round at that stage, and you’re still comfortable moving around freely. This is the sweet spot for the most flattering, timeless portraits.
If you’re expecting multiples, we’ll plan a bit earlier — around 26 to 28 weeks — so you’re still feeling your best. And if you’re already past 32 weeks, reach out anyway. I’m often available and can work with your timeline.
Meanwhile, my calendar fills quickly and preferred dates go fast. The sooner you reach out, the better your chances of securing the spot that works best for you.

Studio sessions aren’t just for solo mama portraits. Your partner is absolutely welcome to join. So are your little ones. In fact, some of the sweetest images I’ve ever created were of a toddler kissing mama’s bump in the soft studio light.
I have coordinating wardrobe options for partners and children, too. So the whole family feels cohesive and beautiful without any last-minute outfit stress on your end.

About two weeks after your session, we’ll meet for your ordering appointment. You’ll see your beautifully edited gallery for the first time. Then, I’ll guide you through selecting custom artwork for your walls — framed prints, fine art albums, and maternity heirlooms you’ll hold in your hands.
These aren’t just digital files sitting on a hard drive. They’re artwork. The kind you frame above a bed, display in a nursery, and eventually show your child when they’re grown.

The session I shared above became one of my most beautiful studio albums. Soft linen cover, images sequenced like a story, the kind of thing you set on a coffee table and flip through slowly. That’s what I want for every mama who comes through my studio. Take a closer look at everything included in your maternity experience:
