I recommend booking between 28-32 weeks when your bump is beautifully round, but you're still comfortable moving around. This timing creates the most flattering portraits while keeping you feeling your best throughout the session. If you're expecting multiples, we might schedule a bit earlier—around 26-28 weeks—when you're still comfortable but showing beautifully.

Absolutely! I love photographing the whole family as you await your newest addition. Your partner and children are welcome at both beach and studio sessions, and my client wardrobe includes coordinating pieces for everyone. We'll capture those sweet moments of siblings kissing your bump, your partner's hand on your belly, and the anticipation you all share together.

You don't need to worry about what to wear. My studio wardrobe includes a gorgeous collection of maternity gowns in every style, from flowing bohemian dresses to elegant fitted gowns. I've photographed each dress so you can see exactly how it photographs before your session. During our planning consultation, I'll help you choose gowns that flatter your body and match the style you're dreaming of. If you prefer to wear your own outfit, I'm happy to offer styling guidance to make sure it photographs beautifully.

I offer two beautiful options for your maternity session. Beach sessions take place at Henderson Beach State Park or Grayton Beach State Park, where we'll capture golden hour portraits with the Gulf as your backdrop. Studio sessions are held in my light-filled Niceville studio, just minutes from Destin, where I have complete control over lighting, wardrobe, and privacy. Many families choose studio sessions for a more intimate, timeless feel, while beach sessions offer that classic coastal aesthetic.

Absolutely! Maternity and newborn sessions tell the complete story of welcoming your baby. Many of my clients book the Collective Membership, which includes both your maternity session and newborn session at a bundled rate. This way, you'll have portraits from the anticipation of pregnancy through those precious first days with your baby. The sessions complement each other beautifully, and you'll treasure having this full documentation of your journey into motherhood.

I recommend reaching out during your second trimester so we can reserve your spot for that ideal 28-32 week window. My calendar fills quickly, especially during spring and summer when beach sessions are most popular. If you're hoping for a specific time of day or beach location, booking early gives you the best selection. That said, if you're already past your second trimester, reach out anyway. I often have availability and can work with your timeline.
