What is an heirloom album?
Heirloom Albums are handmade photo albums that hold memories of important moments in your life. As an Emerald Coast photographer I guarantee that these albums are created with archival materials to last generations, inviting future generations to share in your family’s story. Each album features thick, lay-flat pages printed on photographic papers to ensure they last over time.
Who can use an heirloom album?
Anyone! Most of my baby clients decide to create one for their baby’s first couple of days after birth. An album is a great way to tell their story displayed on the high-quality thick pages bound into a fine art album. I love to design these and add an elegant note with a personalized cover design.
What does an heirloom album include?
An Heirloom album holds a minimum of 20 images, and they are perfect for any portrait session. From baby’s first year to a family’s story at the Emerald coast beautifully bound in an album – we can include all of your favorite images.
Each album includes:
- Album size: 10×10, 8×10, or 9×12 (available in vertical or horizontal)
- Cover Materials: You have a choice of European Linens, genuine Italian Leathers, and fabrics in your favorite coastal colors. Albums can be color-matched to your interior design. Therefore you can beautifully lay it out on your coffee table, or on your favorite dresser.
- Papers & layout: The AKP album consists of true photographic paper. Choose any number of spreads (think left and a right side of an open book) with a minimum of ten to a maximum of 50 spreads. I love to include 1-3 images per spread.
- Cover Design: There is the option to create a window photo custom text debossing, or to leave it blank. I have many examples to show during the ordering appointment. Custom-designed debossing for personalization is available in blind, gold, or silver.

With my State of the Art software, I am happy to create your custom-designed spreads with your favorite images. After your album’s final design, producing this hand-stretched heirloom takes about 6-8 weeks. I design all aspects of your album to your desired design and I have many examples to show you and choose from during your ordering appointment.
