Kids Clothing Stores Near Niceville, FL for Family Photo Outfits

Kids clothing stores Niceville FL families visit before a beach photo session, shown in coordinated family outfits in Destin.

Niceville doesn’t have much in the way of kids’ boutiques, but some of the best children’s clothing shopping on the Gulf Coast is just a short drive away, scattered along 30A. I send my own clients to these stores all the time, and I shop them myself too. The right outfit makes a real difference in how your portraits turn out, which is part of why wardrobe styling is included in every session I offer.

The day before a recent heirloom session, I stopped by The Beaufort Bonnet Company to pull together outfit options. The team there went above and beyond helping me find the right pieces, even though mom ended up choosing a different outfit in the end.

Here’s where I recommend shopping for your family’s next photo session, whether it’s a beach session, a studio sitting, or heirloom portraits, plus some tips on choosing pieces that’ll actually photograph well.

1. The Beaufort Bonnet Company

📍 Grand Boulevard Town Center, Miramar Beach, FL · thebeaufortbonnetcompany.com

This is my go to for timeless, classic pieces, especially for heirloom style sessions. Their signature bonnets and refined, neutral toned outfits photograph beautifully both in the studio and on the beach. Pricing runs higher, but the quality and timelessness make them worth it for portraits you’ll keep for generations. Solid colors and simple silhouettes here look great in both indoor and outdoor light. A lot of their pieces work just as well for a studio heirloom session as they do for a beach sunset.

2. La Luna Children’s Boutique

📍 625 Grand Blvd #E106, Miramar Beach, FL 32550 · (850) 368-5654 · laluna4kids.com

Also at Grand Boulevard, La Luna carries everything from newborn essentials to stylish pieces for older kids, and the price point is more accessible than Beaufort Bonnet. There’s a play area for little ones while you shop, which makes outfit picking far less stressful with toddlers in tow. Their “Mommy and Me” matching sets are an easy win if you want coordinated, not identical, looks for mom and littles. Their range of sizes also makes it simple to outfit several kids in one stop.

3. Love and Grow Clothing & Smith Coastal

📍 5281 E County Hwy 30A, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459 · (850) 399-4043 · loveandgrowclothing.com

This Santa Rosa Beach boutique designs unique, limited run pieces, so you won’t see your family’s photos looking like everyone else’s beach session that season. Pricing is mid range, with new releases every week. If you have multiple kids, their sibling sets make coordinating colors simple without forcing exact matches. Their fabrics also tend to hold up well in beach conditions, which is good to know if you’re planning a windy golden hour session.

4. Kids + Baby by The Seaside Style

📍 63 Central Square, Seaside, FL 32459 · (850) 231-1733 · theseasidestyle.com

Right in the heart of Seaside, this shop carries sizes from newborn through age 14, so it’s an easy one stop option if you’re coordinating outfits across several kids at once. Their coastal color palette of soft blues, whites, and seashell tones was practically made for beach photography. It’s a great choice if your family spans a wide age range and you want everything to feel cohesive without shopping multiple stores.

5. Duckie’s Shop of Fun

📍 45 Central Square, Seaside, FL 32459 · (850) 231-4800 · shopduckies.com

Also in Seaside, Duckie’s is known mostly for toys, but don’t skip their beach clothing selection. It’s a cute, casual option if you want something more playful and less dressed up for a relaxed beach session. It’s budget friendly too, and a fun stop with kids in tow since there’s plenty to keep them entertained while you browse. If your family’s style leans more laid back than polished, start here.

6. The Maddie Hatter

📍 9 Hub Lane, Watersound, FL 32461

At the Shops at the Hub in Watersound, this boutique is entirely dedicated to children’s fashion. It’s whimsical and colorful, genuinely designed with photo worthy outfits in mind. Pricing runs mid to upper range, with seasonal collections that rotate often, so it’s worth checking back before your session. Their prints tend to be bold and fun, which photographs especially well for younger kids who can carry a little more pattern and color.

7. Silver Sands Premium Outlets

📍 10562 Emerald Coast Parkway, Destin, FL 32550 · (850) 654-9771 · premiumoutlets.com/outlet/silver-sands

Silver Sands carries a mix of well-known brands like Carter’s, Janie and Jack, GAP Kids, and Old Navy, all under one roof. It’s a solid option if you want recognizable, budget-friendly options without driving all over 30A, and with that many stores in one spot, you’re likely to find something that works no matter what look you’re going for.

Bonus: Pink N Blue Avenue

📍 4339 Legendary Drive, Destin, FL 32541 (within Destin Commons, across from Build-A-Bear Workshop) · (850) 424-5707 · pinknblueavenue.net

If you’re staying closer to Destin, Pink N Blue at Destin Commons is a reliable option too. They carry brands like Rylee + Cru and The Beaufort Bonnet Company, handy if a 30A drive isn’t in the cards before your session.

How to Choose What Actually Photographs Well

A few things I tell every client before they shop: stick to solid colors or very subtle patterns. Busy prints compete with the beach or studio backdrop instead of complementing it. For families with multiple kids, aim for coordinating, not matching, colors within the same palette. It reads as intentional without looking like a uniform.

If you’re shopping for a beach session specifically, lightweight, breathable fabrics hold up far better in wind and humidity than anything heavy or structured. If you’re dressing more than one child, try to settle on two or three colors total across the whole family. It keeps the look cohesive in photos without everyone needing to match exactly. When in doubt, neutral tones with one or two accent colors almost always photograph better than busy, competing patterns.
