What to Wear for Spring Beach Photos: Family, Maternity & Newborn Session Guide for Destin

Three adults and two children walk barefoot along a sandy beach near the ocean under a light sky with a bird flying overhead.

Hello, beautiful mamas!

Can I let you in on a little secret? Spring has always been my absolute favorite season for beach photography on the Emerald Coast. Maybe it’s the way the golden light kisses a mama’s glowing skin against those turquoise waters, or how everything feels like it’s waking up just as you’re preparing to welcome new life. There’s something about spring beach sessions that mirrors the journey of pregnancy and those precious first days with your baby: everything feels like a fresh start, full of possibility and beauty.

I recently had the joy of photographing Jessica and her beautiful family at Henderson Beach State Park in Destin, and their session perfectly captures why spring beach sessions are so magical. The soft, natural light, the comfortable temperatures, the way those white sand dunes created the most stunning backdrop, and their wardrobe choices? Absolutely perfect! The family’s coordinated coastal colors in whites and soft blues looked incredible against the emerald waters and white sand.

Comfortable Weather for Growing Bellies

Let’s be real: when you’re in your third trimester, you want to be comfortable! Spring on the Emerald Coast offers that sweet spot: warm enough for those gorgeous flowing maternity gowns and barefoot beach sessions, but not the sweltering heat and humidity of a Florida summer. You can actually enjoy the experience rather than just endure it.

Fewer Crowds, More Privacy

What to wear for spring beach photos should inspire joy and creativity in every shot.

Here’s something I love about spring beach sessions in Destin: we’re ahead of the peak summer tourist season! This means more privacy for your session, easier access to those beautiful beach spots, and a more intimate, relaxed experience. Henderson Beach State Park is stunning year-round, but spring gives us that perfect balance of beautiful weather without the summer crowds.

Your choice of what to wear for spring beach photos will be a lasting memory for years to come.

The Emerald Coast at Its Most Beautiful

When planning, consider what to wear for spring beach photos that will reflect your family’s personality and style. Soft colors and flowing dresses or outfits work best with the beach’s natural beauty.

Combined with our pristine white sand beaches and those stunning sand dunes, spring creates the most breathtaking natural backdrop for your maternity, newborn, and family photos.

What to Wear for Beach Maternity Sessions

The key is comfort and flow! Spring beach sessions are perfect for those dreamy, flowing maternity gowns that move beautifully in the coastal breeze and celebrate your gorgeous bump.

Remember, the key to great photos is to be comfortable in what to wear for spring beach photos. This will help you relax and enjoy the moment.

A great tip is to choose what to wear for spring beach photos based on the colors of the landscape and the emotional tone you want to convey. This helps in creating a cohesive look for everyone.

Best Colors for Maternity Beach Sessions in Destin

The white sand and turquoise water of Destin create the most stunning backdrop, and I’ve learned through years of photographing here that certain colors just sing against this setting. Whites and creams are absolutely timeless and create such elegant, classic images. Soft blues and aquas echo the ocean colors gorgeously, while blush pinks and soft roses are incredibly flattering on glowing mama skin.

I also love sage greens and soft teals because they complement the natural coastal surroundings so beautifully. Warm neutrals like taupe and sand create that cohesive beachy feel, and soft corals and peaches? Absolutely gorgeous at golden hour! Even gentle lavenders and mauves can be unexpected but stunning against turquoise water.

For a perfect beach session this season, here’s what to wear for spring beach photos that will capture the essence of spring beautifully. This is the ultimate guide on what to wear for spring beach photos that will leave you looking stunning against the beautiful backdrop of the beach.

White and cream are always my top recommendations for beach maternity sessions because they photograph beautifully in natural spring light and create that clean, coastal aesthetic that never goes out of style.

The Best Maternity Dress Styles for Beach Sessions

I absolutely love flowing maxi dresses with lots of movement. There’s something magical about how they catch the ocean breeze in photos. Off-the-shoulder or one-shoulder gowns are both elegant and flattering, while empire waist styles flow beautifully over your bump without feeling tight or restrictive. Wrap-style dresses are wonderful because you can adjust them for comfort throughout the session, and split-front gowns add just a touch of drama that looks incredible with the breeze!

Choosing the Right Fabrics

When it comes to beach sessions, fabric choice really matters. You want materials that breathe and move, think chiffon, jersey, or soft cotton blends. These fabrics catch the ocean breeze and create beautiful movement in photos while being comfortable for several hours (and yes, in sand!). They photograph with beautiful texture and flow without being too heavy, hot, or clingy, which is especially important when you’re in your third trimester.

Don’t be afraid of subtle prints or florals either! A delicate floral pattern can be stunning for spring beach maternity photos. Just remember you want to feel beautiful and comfortable, so choose silhouettes that celebrate your bump and make you feel confident.

What to Wear for Beach Family Sessions

For family beach sessions, coordination (not matching!) is absolutely key. Here’s how to create that cohesive, coastal look that photographs beautifully without making everyone look like they’re wearing uniforms.

Creating Your Family Color Palette

The best approach is to choose 2-3 colors plus a neutral, then distribute these throughout your family’s outfits. Jessica’s family is the perfect example. They used whites and creams with soft blues, creating a timeless, elegant look that was perfect for Destin’s white sand beaches.

Here are some winning combinations I love:

  • Warm Neutrals: Cream, ivory, and beige as your base with soft coral or peach as an accent. This creates a warm, inviting palette that’s absolutely gorgeous at golden hour.
  • Soft and Romantic: White or cream base with blush pink and sage green accents gives you that fresh, spring-like feeling that’s feminine without being too matchy.
  • Coastal Blues: White base with various shades of soft blue (dusty blue, sky blue, and aqua) all work beautifully together and echo the ocean perfectly.

What Mamas Should Wear

For mamas, I absolutely love flowing maxi or midi dresses that are both comfortable and photograph beautifully. Choose soft, romantic fabrics that catch the breeze and create movement in your photos. Off-shoulder or feminine necklines are always flattering, and if you’re self-conscious about your arms, three-quarter or cap sleeves can be a great option that still feels elegant and beach-appropriate.

What Dads Should Wear

Dads, I’m going to make this easy for you! Light-colored linen shirts are perfect. They’re comfortable, beach-appropriate, and you can roll the sleeves for a relaxed look. The key is well-fitted (not baggy) pants in neutral colors. Khakis, light chinos, or even light-colored jeans work great with the beach setting.

What works best:

  • Button-downs in white, cream, light blue, or soft gray
  • Well-fitted pants (not baggy or too tight)
  • Rolled sleeves for that relaxed beach vibe

What to avoid:

  • Very short sleeves
  • Overly baggy clothing
  • Dark colors

Dressing Your Little Ones

Here’s the truth about photographing kids at the beach: comfort is EVERYTHING!

For girls, flowy sundresses or rompers are adorable and easy to move in. Make sure they’re coordinating with your family colors but not identical to mom. Let their personalities shine! Always put shorts under dresses for active play and choose something comfortable that they can actually enjoy wearing.

For boys, linen shirts or soft cotton button-downs paired with comfortable shorts or light pants work wonderfully. Keep them coordinating with your family palette, but nothing too stiff or formal. Remember, they need to play!

For toddlers and little ones, prioritize comfort over perfection every single time. Bring backup outfits (trust me on this one!), and choose simple, soft clothing they can move freely in. And yes, embrace those bare feet in the sand. It’s part of the magic!

What to Wear for Newborn Sessions

While most newborn sessions happen in my studio, I offer lifestyle newborn options as well, and the styling approach is a bit different.

Studio Newborn Sessions

For studio sessions, I love when mamas wear soft, solid colors in neutrals or pastels. These choices keep the focus on your beautiful baby while still creating a cohesive, lovely image. Dads, simple button-downs or henleys in coordinating colors work perfectly, and siblings should coordinate with the family palette. The key here is keeping it simple. This session is all about celebrating your tiny new addition!

Best color choices for newborn sessions:

  • Soft creams, whites, and warm neutrals
  • Gentle pastels (blush, soft blue, and sage)
  • Avoid busy patterns, bright colors, or heavy textures

Lifestyle Newborn Sessions

If we’re incorporating any outdoor elements or home lifestyle shots into your newborn session, think comfortable and soft. Layers you can adjust work well, along with natural, breathable fabrics. The vibe here should be “cozy” rather than “formal.” We’re capturing authentic moments of your new family dynamic.

Destin Beach Session Specifics

Here’s what you need to know specifically for beach sessions on the Emerald Coast.

Embrace the Coastal Breeze

The coastal breeze is absolutely your friend! Choose materials that will catch the wind and create beautiful movement in your photos. Jessica’s family in their coordinated whites and soft blues looked absolutely stunning at Henderson Beach. The movement, the contrast against the white sand and turquoise water, everything came together perfectly.

Colors That Photograph Best on Our White Sand

When you think about what to wear for spring beach photos, focus on joy and authenticity.

Your choices in what to wear for spring beach photos will reflect your family’s unique story.

What to wear for spring beach photos should always bring a smile to your face.

  • Whites, creams, and ivories (classic and always gorgeous)
  • Soft blues and aquas (echo the ocean beautifully)
  • Pastels like blush, peach, and lavender
  • Warm neutrals like tan, beige, and soft taupe
  • One pop of color: one family member in soft coral or sage adds personality

What to Avoid for Beach Sessions

Dark, heavy colors like blacks, deep navies, and burgundy tend to feel out of place at the beach and can look harsh against the bright, airy setting. Neon or very bright colors can reflect unflattering light onto skin. Overly formal or structured clothing feels wrong at the beach. This setting calls for relaxed elegance. Very busy patterns compete with the beautiful natural backdrop, and logos, graphics, or text on clothing will date your photos and distract from what really matters: your family connection.

Practical Considerations for the Beach

Lastly, have fun with what to wear for spring beach photos. Your enthusiasm will shine through in the images, creating lasting memories for your family.

Plan for barefoot photos. They’re the most natural, comfortable, and beautiful option for beach sessions. Just keep in mind that the sand can be warm in late spring, especially for little feet. Bring a towel or blanket for any sitting shots, and embrace the fact that sand will get on clothing. It’s part of the authentic beach experience!

Let the process of deciding what to wear for spring beach photos be an exciting adventure!

What to wear for spring beach photos is a celebration of your family’s journey and growth.

Light-colored clothing tends to photograph best against our pristine white sand, so lean into those lighter tones. Consider the wind when choosing fabrics. Flowing materials are beautiful, but super lightweight pieces might be tricky to manage. And with flowing dresses and bright sun, make sure you have appropriate undergarment coverage.

Best Beach Locations for Spring Sessions

Not all beaches are created equal when it comes to photography! Let me share my favorite locations and why they’re perfect for spring family, maternity, and lifestyle sessions.

Henderson Beach State Park (Destin)

This is where I photographed Jessica’s gorgeous family session, and it’s my primary location for several important reasons. The stunning white sand dunes create natural, beautiful backdrops that are quintessentially Florida without any man-made distractions. Because it’s a protected state park, we get more privacy than crowded public beaches, and the pristine, undeveloped coastline means no buildings, condos, or structures in the background of your photos.

The natural sea oats and coastal vegetation add gorgeous texture and interest to photos without feeling forced or artificial. This location is beautiful at any time of day but especially magical at golden hour when that warm light hits the dunes. The well-maintained facilities include clean restrooms and convenient parking, details that matter when you’re pregnant or have young kids! And here’s what I love most: Henderson Beach has consistent beauty regardless of weather. Those dunes are always gorgeous, rain or shine.

What makes Henderson Beach special:

  • Stunning natural dune systems
  • Protected, private beach access
  • No buildings or structures in backgrounds
  • Natural sea oats and vegetation
  • Beautiful facilities and convenient parking
  • Approximately 1.5 miles of pristine coastline

Jessica’s family session perfectly showcases why I love this location. The dunes provided beautiful and gorgeous texture in the background, and that iconic “Destin beach” look that makes these photos timeless. When you look at your photos from Henderson Beach, you’ll see pure, natural beauty: white sand, turquoise water, natural dunes, and your beautiful family. No photoshopping out buildings or crowds needed!

The best times for Henderson Beach sessions are 1.5 hours before sunset for that warm, glowing light. There’s a small park entrance fee, but it’s absolutely worth it for the privacy and beauty.

Grayton Beach State Park (30A)

For my 30A clients, I offer sessions at Grayton Beach State Park. This stunning location features dramatic natural dune systems and pristine, undeveloped coastline that creates a completely different aesthetic from Henderson Beach. A travel fee applies for this location.

Why Location Matters

Choosing the right beach location isn’t just about pretty backgrounds. It’s about your comfort, including accessibility from parking to sand, availability of facilities, shade options for breaks, and how much walking is involved. It’s about privacy too: fewer crowds mean more intimate moments, no photobombers in your special photos, and more freedom to relax and be yourselves. And of course, it’s about natural beauty: backgrounds that enhance rather than distract, pristine undeveloped coastline, and natural elements that create timeless photos.

During our consultation, we’ll discuss which location best fits your vision, mobility needs, family dynamics, and the style of photos you’re dreaming of!

Complete Spring Session Planning Guide

Beach Maternity Session Ideas

Spring beach maternity sessions create images that feel both elegant and effortless, exactly what I love to create for my clients! There are so many beautiful moments we can capture during your session.

Sunset silhouettes against the turquoise water are absolutely breathtaking. Playing in gentle waves (shallow water only for safety!) creates such joyful, authentic moments. I love capturing romantic couple shots on the dunes, and incorporating your family creates those precious “before baby arrives” memories. Solo maternity portraits celebrating YOU and this incredible journey are so important too. The candid moments of connection with your partner, the sweet “baby’s first beach trip” belly shots, all of these tell your unique story.

When it comes to props and details, my philosophy is to keep it simple and natural for beach sessions:

  • Ultrasound photos held over your belly
  • Simple flowers that complement your outfit
  • Nothing too elaborate (the natural beauty speaks for itself!)

Beach Family Session Ideas

Spring beach family sessions capture the joy and connection of your growing family in the most beautiful setting. The classic family beach moments I love to capture include walking hand-in-hand along the shoreline, playing in the sand together, and those genuine bursts of laughter and interaction. Sitting together on the dunes, kids running and playing (I absolutely love capturing these candid moments!), and sunset cuddles and sweet family embraces. These are the moments you’ll treasure forever.

For families with young children, here’s what I want you to know: let them PLAY! Some of my favorite family photos happen when kids are chasing waves, collecting shells, running with the wind, being silly and spontaneous, and showing their true personalities. I’ll capture both the posed portraits you’ll want to frame and the candid, joyful moments that truly show who your family is right now.

Newborn Session Inspiration

Spring is a beautiful time to welcome your baby with a studio newborn session. I use soft, spring-inspired color palettes like pastels, neutrals, and fresh tones that feel perfectly seasonal. Natural light creates that dreamy, soft aesthetic that newborn photos are known for. My timeless setups celebrate your tiny baby without trendy props that will date the photos, and we’ll incorporate family and sibling shots along with those precious detail shots of tiny fingers, toes, and that perfect profile.

For families preferring a more natural, at-home approach, lifestyle newborn sessions capture this fleeting stage authentically. We’ll photograph in your beautifully lit home, in your prepared nursery, with natural interactions with family. This style is less posed and more documentary, capturing the real, beautiful moments of your first days together.

Coordinating Maternity & Newborn Sessions

Many mamas love booking both sessions together, creating a complete story of this chapter. You’ll have your spring maternity session in comfortable weather, then your newborn session 2-4 weeks after baby arrives. This creates a cohesive collection documenting bump to baby, and I offer package pricing for combined sessions. It’s such a beautiful way to tell your complete story!

Interested in booking both sessions? Let’s create your complete story!

Common Styling Mistakes to Avoid

The Matching Trap

Let’s talk about the biggest styling mistake I see: that old-school “everyone in matching white shirts and jeans” look. While Jessica’s family wore predominantly whites and soft blues, notice the subtle variations? Different textures, slightly different shades, personal touches. That’s coordination, not matching, and it makes all the difference!

Instead of everyone looking identical, let each family member’s personality shine through complementary colors. Use a cohesive color palette distributed throughout the family. Think “we belong together” not “we’re uniforms.” Create visual interest with varying shades of your chosen colors.

For example:

  • Mom: Flowing white dress
  • Dad: Light blue linen shirt with khaki pants
  • Daughter: Cream sundress with floral details
  • Son: White shirt with soft blue shorts

Everyone coordinates beautifully without looking cookie-cutter!

Ignoring Comfort

I’ve learned something important through years of photographing families: when clients feel confident and comfortable in what they’re wearing, it absolutely shows in their photos. When you feel good, your smile is more genuine, you move more naturally, you’re present in the moment instead of worried about your outfit, and that confidence translates to better expressions and deeper connection in your images.

Conversely, discomfort shows too. Tugging at ill-fitting clothing, self-conscious body language, distracted expressions, and being less willing to relax and have fun, all of these things impact your photos in ways you might not expect. Choose clothing that makes you feel beautiful AND comfortable. This is especially important for expecting mamas and beach sessions where you’ll be moving, sitting in sand, and spending several hours in your outfit.

Forgetting the Details

Sometimes it’s the small things that make or break photos. Make sure your clothing is wrinkle-free (steam or iron everything the day before!). Remove any visible logos or graphics that will distract from your beautiful faces. Check your undergarments carefully for visible lines and appropriate coverage for beach sessions with flowing fabrics and bright sun. Coordinate your shoes even though we’ll be barefoot, as they might appear in some walking shots. And please remove hair ties from wrists, watches, and bulky items from pockets before we start shooting.

Dads, I’m looking at you specifically for a moment! Empty those pockets completely (no wallet bulges or phone outlines, please). Make sure your clothing is well-fitted, not baggy or too tight. Roll your sleeves for a relaxed beach look, and if you have facial hair, make sure it’s well-groomed for the session.

Mamas, consider wearing a strapless bra if you’re choosing an off-shoulder dress. Test your dress in wind and movement before the session to avoid any surprises. Bring safety pins for any wardrobe concerns that pop up, and plan hair and makeup that will last through beach wind and humidity.

Being Too Trendy

While it’s tempting to choose very trendy pieces, remember these photos will be displayed in your home for years to come. Timeless choices age better:

  • Classic silhouettes and styles
  • Simple elegant designs
  • Neutral and soft color palettes
  • Quality over quantity

Trendy cutouts, very specific current styles, or overly styled looks can date your photos quickly. Aim for “classic beach elegance” with flowing feminine maternity gowns, light linens and soft fabrics, coastal color palettes, and simple refined styling.

Overthinking It

Sometimes clients get so worried about choosing the “perfect” outfits that they forget the most important thing: your photos are about CONNECTION, not perfection. They’re about your love for each other, the joy of this season, genuine emotion and interaction, and the story of your family. I promise, I’ll make you look beautiful. Your job is to show up, be present, and enjoy this experience!

How to Prepare for Your Spring Beach Session

Planning Your Wardrobe (2-3 Weeks Before)

Start your planning by browsing Pinterest for inspiration. Save whatever speaks to you! Review my styling guide that I’ll provide at booking, and consider borrowing from my client closet if you’d like. If you need to shop, give yourself time for exchanges and returns. If you’re ordering online, make sure to allow enough time for delivery.

As you plan, consider:

  • How pregnant you’ll be at the session (comfort really matters!)
  • The ages of your children (prioritize their comfort too)
  • Weather forecast tendencies for your session date
  • Your personal style and what makes you feel confident
  • The location we’ve chosen (affects outfit practicality)

The Try-On Test (3-5 Days Before)

This step is so important! Lay out COMPLETE outfits for every family member:

  • Main clothing pieces
  • Shoes (even though we’ll be barefoot, in case they appear in shots)
  • Accessories
  • Undergarments (checking carefully for visibility issues)
  • Any props you want to bring

Then actually try everything on. Check fit and comfort, look in a full-length mirror, and test movement. Sit down, walk around, reach up. Check for any potential wardrobe malfunctions, see how the colors work together as a family, and take photos to see how everything photographs. This trial run will save you so much stress on session day!

For expecting mamas specifically, try everything on at the end of the day when you might be more swollen. Sit in your dress. Will it ride up or be uncomfortable? Move around. Can you walk comfortably in sand? And consider bathroom accessibility because some flowy dresses can be tricky!

Day-Before Prep

Steam or iron everything and hang your outfits wrinkle-free on hangers. Keep them in garment bags if possible, and separate each family member’s complete outfit so nothing gets mixed up on session day.

Pack your session bag:

  • All outfits organized
  • Small emergency kit (safety pins, stain remover, small sewing kit)
  • Hair products for beach wind touch-ups
  • Lint roller
  • Baby wipes for any messes
  • Sunscreen (apply before getting dressed!)
  • Water bottles
  • Snacks for kids (for after the session!)

Check the updated weather forecast, note the wind conditions since this affects hair and makeup planning, check the exact sunset time if you’re doing a golden hour session, and have backup plan discussions with me if needed.

Day-Of Preparation

Plan to arrive about 15 minutes early to find parking without stress. Allow time for bathroom stops, and please don’t rush. Stress shows in photos! Apply sunscreen at least 30 minutes before getting dressed to avoid any marks or residue on your clothes.

So, when you’re getting ready for your session, remember to keep in mind what to wear for spring beach photos that will enhance your overall experience and the final images.

When you’re getting ready, get dressed last (after hair and makeup are done, after the kids are ready). Do your final checks in good lighting, bring your emergency kit to the session, and take some deep breaths. You’ve got this!

For little ones, remember that well-rested kids photograph best, so plan naps accordingly. Make sure they’re fed and happy, but not right after eating. Beach pictures plus a very full tummy can be tricky. Bring snacks and drinks for AFTER the session, arrive with realistic expectations (we’ll work with whatever moods show up!), and bring a favorite toy for transitions if needed. I’ll hide it in the actual photos!

Mental Preparation

Let me be really honest with you. I’ve worked with hundreds of families, and almost every mama has worried about how she’ll look, whether her kids will cooperate, if everything will turn out okay, and whether she’ll be awkward in front of the camera.

Here’s what I want you to know: You will look beautiful, I promise. Kids being kids makes for the BEST photos. Those authentic moments are pure gold. “Perfection” is actually boring. Authenticity is what’s beautiful and what you’ll treasure. I’ll guide you through everything, and we’re going to have fun!

Your only job is to show up, be present, connect with your family, laugh, breathe, and trust me. I’ll handle the rest: the lighting, the posing, the composition, capturing those genuine moments. You just be YOU.

Timing Your Session Booking

For maternity photos, the ideal time is 32-36 weeks pregnant when you have a beautiful round bump but are still comfortable enough to enjoy the session. You don’t want to book too close to your due date since babies sometimes come early!

Spring timing gives you a huge advantage:

  • Book your session for your third trimester
  • Avoid the summer heat and humidity
  • Enjoy comfortable weather for beach sessions
  • Take advantage of better availability before peak season

For newborn photos, reach out during your second trimester to reserve your due date window. Newborn sessions are ideally done within the first two weeks after birth when babies are still super sleepy and curly. Spring babies are in high demand, so book early! I’ll hold a tentative date around your due date, and we’ll finalize everything once baby arrives.

Why booking early matters:

  • Spring is popular for newborn sessions
  • Limited availability
  • Peace of mind knowing it’s scheduled
  • Time to plan and prepare

What If You Need Help?

I’m here for you every step of the way. Your booking includes a pre-session consultation, outfit approval and feedback, location selection guidance, and timeline planning. Let’s Create Something Beautiful Together

There’s something about capturing new life and growing families during the season when everything is blooming that feels so intentional, so right. Whether this is your first baby or you’re adding to your growing family, whether you’re capturing maternity memories or celebrating your complete family, I’d be honored to document this chapter for you.

Jessica trusted me to capture her family’s story at Henderson Beach, and seeing their joy, connection, and comfort during their session reminded me why I love what I do. The way they coordinated so beautifully in their coastal colors, the genuine laughter and love. This is what spring beach sessions are all about.

I want to create that same experience for you. Where you feel comfortable, supported, and beautiful throughout the entire process. Where choosing what to wear isn’t stressful but exciting. Where your session feels less like an obligation and more like a celebration of this incredible season in your life.

What’s Included in Spring Sessions

Signature Maternity Sessions include a pre-session consultation to plan every detail, location selection (Henderson Beach State Park in Destin or Grayton Beach State Park for 30A clients with travel fee), access to my comprehensive styling guide, and client closet maternity gowns available to borrow. I’ll provide professional hair and makeup artist recommendations, and we’ll schedule your beach session at your preferred time. Digital collections range from $1,000 to $1,800, and gorgeous heirloom prints and products are available.

Signature Family Sessions include complete session planning and consultation, styling guidance for the entire family, your choice of beach location, and extended session time for multiple family combinations. You’ll receive digital collections and have access to professional printing and product options.

Signature Newborn Sessions offer studio or lifestyle options with complete session planning. All setups, props, and posing assistance are included, along with family and sibling photos. Newborn safety is always my top priority. You’ll receive comprehensive digital collections with beautiful artwork options available.

Collective Membership is for families wanting ongoing documentation throughout the year. This membership offers multiple sessions, priority booking for spring dates, special member pricing on all sessions, and the ability to document your entire journey from bump to baby to growing family with quarterly sessions to capture every stage.

Spring Session Availability

Spring dates fill quickly, especially for beach sessions when the weather is absolutely perfect!

Current booking timeline:

  • Maternity sessions: Book 4-6 weeks in advance minimum
  • Family sessions: 3-4 weeks advance booking recommended
  • Newborn sessions: Reach out during 2nd trimester to reserve your due date window
  • Peak spring/summer months (March-September): Book as early as possible

Henderson Beach sessions book fastest since it’s my most popular location. Golden hour time slots fill first, and while spring weather is ideal, it’s a limited window. Peak season is approaching quickly, so booking now gives you peace of mind having your session secured.
