Destin family photography sessions come in two experiences, and I designed each one with a specific family in mind. One is a full guided journey from wardrobe to finished album. The other is a streamlined option for families who want beautiful portraits without the planning. Both produce photographs you will love. The difference is in how much support you want along the way.
The Family Signature Session: A Full Guided Experience
The Signature Session is the one I am most proud to offer. It covers every detail from the moment you reach out to the moment your portraits are in your hands.
Before we meet on the beach, we sit down together for a Design Session. We talk through your vision, your family’s personalities, and how you want these photographs to feel. We settle on the location, the timing, and the story you want to tell. From there, I take care of everything.
Wardrobe comes from my client closet, which holds over 100 pieces. Gowns for mom, coordinating options for the whole family, and color palette guidance so your portraits feel cohesive and polished. You will not spend a single hour stressing over outfits, because we confirm everything before session day arrives.
Your session day is reserved exclusively for your family. If the weather does not cooperate, I hold a backup morning so we can reschedule without the stress. You are not slotted into a back-to-back schedule. You have the whole day, and we use it when the light and weather are perfect for your family.
After your session, we meet for a virtual ordering appointment. I walk you through your edited gallery and help you design a custom album and digital collection that tells your family’s story. You select what feels right, and I guide every step of the process.
The Signature Session fee starts at $300, with artwork and digital files sold separately. Extended family members are welcome, with a small add-on fee per person beyond the immediate family.
This session is for families who want portraits that tell the story of exactly who they were in this season of life, beautifully preserved in an album they will pull off the shelf for years to come.
The Beach Simplicity Session: A Beautiful Place to Start
The Beach Simplicity Session is one of my favorite Destin family photography sessions to offer vacationing families. It is a 25-minute experience at Henderson Beach State Park in Destin. You show up in your own outfits, I guide you through the whole session, and you walk away with ten beautifully edited digital files.
The Beach Simplicity Session puts the planning in your hands. You choose your outfits, you handle the prep, and you show up ready to go. It runs on a set schedule alongside other sessions, so rescheduling for rain is not an option. If your vacation window is flexible and the weather holds, it is a beautiful fit.
A lot of families book the Beach Simplicity Session first and return the following year for the Signature Session. Once they see what their portraits look like, they want the full experience next time around. It is a wonderful entry point, and many families find it becomes the beginning of a longer relationship.
The session fee is $750 and includes your ten digital files. It is designed for families of four or fewer, and it fits cleanly into a Destin vacation without requiring a lot of lead time.
